Shibukawa Marine Aquarium (Tamano Maritime Museum) has been temporarily closed since September 7, 2025 due to a malfunction in the facility. However, we expect to be able to install protective fences and other equipment to ensure the safety of visitors and staff by September 12, 2025, and we are pleased to announce that the aquarium will reopen for business on September 13, 2025.
