The 3rd Tama-no-Wa Festival Volunteers and Corporate Sponsors Wanted

  • Recruitment

The Tamanowa Festival is planned by students from Tamano Commercial High School.
This year, for the third time, we are preparing for the event with the theme of "Being Rooted." We are not only thinking about "becoming rooted" as a fun local festival, but also about "becoming rooted" in daily life, and will be planning events such as "disaster prevention" and "upcycling"!
Many local shops will be setting up stalls at the venue again this year. The Mitsui Co-op Gourmet Festival will also be held at the same time, so there will be plenty of delicious and fun things to do! Please visit the shops at the venue and local shops participating in the stamp rally, and also take part in the bingo tournament!
In the "Disaster Prevention" category, with the cooperation of the Regional Revitalization Center, Kokumin Kyosai, and Okayama University, we will hold events such as disaster experience, disaster prevention goods creation, and the "Disaster Prevention PiPit! Dance," where you can learn about disaster prevention in a fun way.
In the "Upcycling" event, students from the School of Commerce will create and sell new items made from discarded materials, and products from 3sun and Atelier MAKAU, which produce upcycled products in Tamano, will also be on sale.
There will also be a photo contest with the theme "Things we want to protect." Prizes will be awarded to the winners! For more information, please check out the Instagram "Tamanowa Festival Photo Contest" website @tamanowa_photocontest.

We are currently looking for volunteers and corporate sponsors.
