Shibukawa Beach

The coastline of white sand and green pine trees is approximately 1 kilometer long, and is one of the largest in the prefecture, having been selected as one of the "100 Best Beaches in Japan" and "100 Best Swimming Beaches." Throughout the year, you can enjoy marine sports such as yachting and windsurfing, as well as beach soccer and beach yoga. During the summer swimming season, the Seto Inland Sea's first "water park" is also set up, where you can enjoy the sea to your heart's content, including water slides.

Summer opening period
After the beach season begins, we will set up the beach huts. You can use the facilities, such as baggage storage and showers, when you come to the beach.
Water Park
This is the first water park in the Seto Inland Sea. It is only available during the summer opening period. Please check the related website for prices, etc.
barbecue
Barbecues are only permitted in designated areas on the eastern end of the beach.
Reservations are not required. There is no charge for use. We do not lend out equipment. Please take home any trash you produce when using the barbecue.
As the space is limited, please be considerate to others when using the facility.
Notes
Eco stations have been set up at this beach. Please cooperate by separating your garbage.
・According to city ordinances, fireworks are prohibited between 10pm and 7am. Please enjoy yourselves while following the rules so as not to cause a nuisance to local residents and those around you.
・Dogs and other pets are not allowed to swim. If you bring pets, please keep them on a lead so they do not cause a nuisance to other guests.
・When fishing, please follow the rules and observe etiquette so as not to cause trouble to other customers.
・Barbecues are only permitted in designated areas on the eastern end of the beach.
・To prevent passive smoking, designated smoking areas have been set up at Shibukawa Beach. Please cooperate in separating smoking areas.
・Application is required if you plan to set up tents or other structures or occupy the area for a long period of time.
