Miyama English Garden
The English Garden was commissioned to British garden engineer Peter Thurman to design the basic layout for the 60th anniversary of the city's incorporation, and was developed by the Tamano City Hall Urban Planning Division, which opened on August 6, 2000. The basic concept of this garden is "a traditional English garden in the 20th century," and its distinctive feature is that it is based on the natural beauty nurtured by British history and culture, with many flowers and trees coexisting with their own beauty in the natural scenery, and harmonizing with the nature of the four seasons. The flowers that bloom with the seasons and the scenery created by nature are beautiful gardens that can only be seen here.
